             Origin: Japan
             Age: Circa 1400
             Material: Wood
             Size: 8 1/2" height x 5 1/2" width x 3 1/2" depth

             Danced by Sarukaku Troupes.

             Pre-Noh mask (representing an old deity) used in Ritual Dance
             to insure community prosperity.

             Condition: Fine aged patina with slight wood loss on each ear.
             Minor touch-up surface restoration. Overall excellent antique condition.
